I have been going to this restaurant for over 2 decades now and it never gets old. Absolutely in love with the cold noodles. A must try!!

This restaurant is located in Hollywood inside the Mondrian Hotel. Elegant atmosphere with great views. The last time I dined here was about a year ago and I noticed that they downsized their portions. They are known for their calamari salad but honestly I was a bit disappointment with this dish. It tasted better before from what I remember and it’s only about half the size. They also took the plantains off their menu which I thought was odd being that this is a Cuban restaurant. The Rib Eye was probably my favorite dish. Cooked to perfection. It was quite delicious. 😉
Started off the night with a mojito which was excellent!!

Crispy Calamari salad with chayote, hearts of palms, cashews, bananas & radicchio tossed in a sesame orange dressing! Sounds better than it tastes!! 😦

Pan Seared Sea Scallops cooked to perfection!! The sauce was amazing too. It was one of my favorite dishes. 😉

Cuban BBQ chicken with Thai coconut sticky rice & avocado cilantro fruit salsa in tamarind sauce. The sticky rice was super tasty.

Crab Croquetas jicama, mango and mirin infused slaw, roasted red pepper remoulade!!

Coconut Chilean Sea Bass with jumbo lump crab and corn flan, chimichurri verduras.

Cuban Coffee Crusted Rib Eye mandarin orange and gingered sherry butter, yuca mojo fries!! This dish was amazing. The flavors were absolutely mouthwatering. 😉

Sweet donuts rolled in cinnamon sugar with toffee sauce. I was so excited when this dessert came out but it was quite doughy inside and wasn’t what I expected. 😦

Carrot cake a la mode. One of the best tasting carrot cakes ever. Magical!!

Located in Las Vegas at the Aria Hotel. As many of you guys know Vegas offers some of the best restaurants in the world so anytime I’m out there I try to take advantage and go to as many different restaurants as possible. Since I stay at the Aria Hotel most of the times I’m in Vegas I have dined at most of the restaurants inside the hotel more than a few times except for Julian Serrano so I was pretty excited to try it. After trying the variety of dishes we ordered I was a bit disappointed. The Calamari was excellent!! One of the most tender pieces of calamari I’ve tasted. Probably one of the 2 dishes that I really enjoyed.

Ahi tuna on a bed of seasoned seaweed in special sauce!! Definitely one of the better dishes!!!

Creamy Risotto with Mushrooms and Manchego!! I’ve had better tasting risotto but still pretty good!!

Chorizo with fried eggs and fried potatoes. Not too impressed. Something I could have put together.

Shrimp in garlic sauce!! Also a dish that I could have done without.

Paella!! I was really looking forward to this dish but it looks way better than it tastes. Not only was the rice a bit hard to chew but overall flavor was very disappointing!! 😦

Caviar!! The lemon filling was made with a gelatin type of texture and it went so well with the caviar. Didn’t expect it to be so good but it was so refreshing and tasty!! 😉

Seabass in special sauce!! This dish looked better than it tasted. It was way too salty for my taste. I actually couldn’t take more than two small bites before I stopped eating it. 😦

Filet mignon on a bed of steamed spinach!!

Miso glazed seabass with shiitake mushrooms. Also a bit too salty!! 😦

Of course, Dessert!! almost like a sneakers bar but a richer and fuller taste!! 😉
